Among all the existing versions of this halftrack, the /22 was loaded with the heaviest weaponry. AFV Club released a similar kit nearly at the same time Dragon released this one. Still today there are discussions about which one is better, but I can assert that Dragon’s is not bad at all.
The parts are cleanly molded without any pin marks, though at times, some parts are too thick and don’t capture the lines of the parts they represent (something usual in injected plastic kits). Fortunately, the ejector marks remain hidden or in places which are easy to be puttied.
At the end of the assembly, you’ll have a great deal of spare parts that will allow you to detail models like the halftracks of the same family manufactured by Tamiya.

The kit in itself, is a variant of the basic Dragon vehicle (SdKfz251/1 Ref #6233). This box includes different accessories to represent a vehicle of early or late batch production.
So, the modeler should make his decision before starting with the assembly
