The model represents the Ferrari 312/68 (009), drove by Jacky Ickx, French GP 1968. This article has been written following the kit Instructions, showing pictures of each step, and it aims to be a guide for others that want to follow the same way.
Building
Step 1
The mount of gearbox and frame, between it and engine, was done as per instructions.
The suggested colors are right. Note the yellow section of the alternator at the rear of gearbox.
Step 2
Assembling of the four brake disks with nice PE parts.
The position of battery and Dinoplex had to be changed since because they were not right for the French GP.
Step 3
Comparing the kit parts and reference pictures you will realize that MFH kit didn’t represent correctly the car in this area.
In the following image you will see, on the right the original frame, and on the left the new which matches the real one.
The battery, rectifier, oil tank and Dinoplex the kit provides are Ok, so they can be relocated in the right place according to the references.
