The Range Rover is a 4x4 luxury British that first entered production in 1970, and is currently at its fourth generation. The Revell kit depicts the first generation 5-door version. In the following sentences I will share my experience building the kit and some modes I made to improve it, I hope they will be useful for others.
The kit does not include parts to represent the engine, but the chassis and suspension are detailed and very realistic. |

Work started from the chassis, to which I applied putty, to eliminate any mold imperfections.
Next up was the body, which I sanded with #500 foam abrasive. Then I washed it and after drying, I airbrushed with Humbrol’s grey primer 1. Next, I sanded with Tamiya #2000 and primered with Humbrol’s white primer 34.
