Hobby Boss is a producer that bets for constant surprising election of their models, far from other companies that provides us with every single version of the ubiquitous T-34, Panther, Sherman, etc. only distinguishable for the angle of that certain part. Hobby Boss may not be as popular but they surely are very original. This time they came up with this particular subject that has never been produced in plastic before, in any scale.

The model is very nice detailed with crispy clean parts that fit perfectly, lovely single links tracks and the building of the model is quite easy. There is only one thing to criticize, the photoetched fret. It seems that Hobby Boss has thought that the model would not seem a standard high quality kit if it would not include some PEs, so they provided a very little amount of the rivets of the tank in this metal fret, although the many hundreds of others are very nicely reproduced on the plastic parts!

What for? It only makes you tire your eyes and crisp your nerves. Apart of that the fret includes a mesh that is hardly visible when the model is finished and some kind of hook that will be hidden as well.

The instructions are quite clear and the decals sheet provides some symbols for an unidentified vehicle.

Building

After checking some photographs of the real vehicle I decided not to use the decals and make an anonymous vehicle instead, I thought that this could benefit the weathering as I would not have to take care of protecting the signals or even covering them too much. From the very beginning I thought that I wanted my T-24 to be muddy and dirty, if it did not see any battle, at least it would have run a lot.
