Read More here > Legal notice There are two kinds of modelers: those who build all sorts of military vehicles and those who build vehicles from particular theatres, epoch or country. In my case after some time building any vehicle that came to my hands, I decided to devote basically to the Middle East conflicts, especially to the Arab-Israeli. Now well, looking at an old Churchill Mk.VII Crocodrile from Tamiya resting on my showcase, I asked myself what I would do with it. Searching for some information, I found out that there had been Churchills Mk.VII in Irak, and also I saw a picture of a Jordanian Churchill!!!. Shortly after, I knew that this kit would have a promising future in my hands, and not the sad end, the garbage dump...
The Churchill We can say a lot about this vehicle and in fact, there will be different opinions about its performance. Although it had quite a shameful beginning, it saw action in many theatres and in several conflicts and was used and adapted for many purposes. Each reader can draw his/her own conclusions. Besides of the technical performance, we can also speak about it aesthetically, something important in this hobby. Ok, don’t beat around the bush: the Churchill is like a brick with a rickety turret on top. However, it has the beauty of ugly things.
The kit comprises 4 sprues (plus the additional for the flamethrower version), the upper and lower hulls come separately, a 9steps instructions sheet, and the decals to accomplish two English versions. Over and above the opinion of those who never built this kit, it’s very good. Actually, recommendable to newcomers to try something different to so many panzer and Sherman But, in spite of being a good kit, it lacks of certain details that can be made from scratch.
