To build this rare subject, Alfredo used the Resicast conversion kit and tracks from Fruimodel. The letters "DD" mean "duplex drive", this Sherman had two different drive systems, one for the water and the conventional for the regular ground, the chain track. The Sherman DD was used in Normandia during the D day as a fast way to send armored vehicles to the beachhead, until this one was safe and besides as support to the landing troops.
