This plane took part in our last edition of the MALTA AIRSHOW at the end of September, 2000.
This Hawk is stationed at RAF St. Athan. This plane is used to ferry St. Athan pilots to/from frontline bases to collect or deliver aircraft for overhail. The Station Flight operates a pair of Hawks (XX172 and XX184). One of these is painted with a large Welsh dragon along the fuselage and up the fin....exactly the one I am enclosing.
I hope the viewers will like the color scheme of this plane as there are several plastic kit manufacturers offering the Bae Hawk as part of their range of plastic models.
