UN vehicle, M93 "Fox"

Tpz1 armoured personnel carrier l (TPz)"Fuchs" (Fox) developed by Daimler-Benz and built by Thyssen-Henschel were supplied to the German army. The lightly armoured 6 x 6 personnel carrier with a max. speed of 100 km/h, is characterized by high performance over all terrains and low noise. The TPz l "Fuchs" has proved its worth in crises and conflicts, both in the GulfWar and in peace-keeping operations in the former Yugoslavia. The "Fuchs" is driven by an 8 cylinder 235 kW (320 hp) Daimler-Benz OM 402A Diesel engine.

I used a Revell kit for this transformation.

For the M93 version, I changed the smoke-generating launchers, for others taken from a M60, adding at both sides aluminum triangles.

Eight rivets, and a tubular sensor, were added on the right lateral side. On the rear right I added a tool box from my spare parts.

All holes around the propeller area, as well as in the motor, were made.

The portholes were added because the kit doesn't provide them. The rear protector plate was mede of aluminum.

All brackets shelves at the left lateral, were also made of aluminum. I built a new exhaust using plastic, and I added to it a protector plate made of aluminum.

All rivets used were taken from a M60 Blazer of my spare parts box. The supports applied on the roof, and other details were also made of aluminum.
