This is a two seat version of the Vampire. Several Vampires were stationed in MALTA for several years and the photos refer to a similar plane that was stationed in Malta for a very long time.
The plane was bought by the MALTA AVIATION MUSEUM and brought to Malta from England. Intensive work had been done to the fuselage as it was in not so good condition.
The fuselage is has been recently refurbished and photos show the condition the Vampire is now.
